A vacation to remember... A lifetime of memories!
If the little voice inside is calling you to France -- one of the greatest countries in Europe, if not the world -- now is the time to visit.
For me, the voice began when I was a child, with dreams of Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower. Little did I know, and perhaps only with the insight and knowledge of a Rick Steves tour, did I discover that a whole new world awaited.
From glamorous Paris to sun-soaked Nice, from castle-topped Chinon to Romanesque Arles, from the bountiful markets of Sarlat to medieval Carcassonne, revel in the beautiful diversity that is France. Whether you seek a city or a village, or the mountains or the beach, France has it all. Yes, you can stroll the grand boulevards and shop to your heart's desire. You can also canoe down the picturesque Dordogne river. You can pack your own picnic from your discoveries at the weekly market... and be sure to let the locals help you with recommendations! You may even feel compelled to try escargot or foie gras for the first time... but if not, there really is a cafe or bakery on every block. Indeed, I would return to France just for the food.
You don't have to do all this on your own. I was fortunate to do all the above, and more, on my Rick Steves 'Paris and the South of France in 15 Days' tour, June 18 - July 2, 2011. I am forever hooked.
Allez! Come in and discover why...
